Redesign for Rakuten.de. The project included over 90% of the website’s pages, shifting to a fully responsive layout, improving the overall customer experience, as well as introducing more visual and editorial content. As a result of constant A/B testing and detailed user research, the usability and conversion rates have been greatly improved.

Redesign for the Rakuten Merchant Backend. The goal was to improve the user experience for Rakuten's merchants and also give them the possibility to check their shop and manage their orders on the go via a fully responsive layout. This resulted in overwhelmingly positive feedback from the merchants and overall higher usage rates.

Club Rakuten is a new customer loyalty program on Rakuten's German marketplace and comparable to Amazon Prime or eBay Plus. My goal for this project was to transport the benefits by creating a unique branding, an explanatory landing page and a sign-up process for the Club. Keeping the sign-up process short and simple resulted in a high number of conversions.

This landing page was created to introduce the Viber messaging service and its benefits to the German market and help to establish the Rakuten ecosystem in Germany. Creating a functionality to transfer Rakuten Superpoints to ViberOut Credits was also part of the project.

In order to introduce the video streaming service of Rakuten to the German audience, this landing page and campaign were created. As part of the campaign, internal and external web banners were designed to bring new users to the service.
